Added Allay duplication

Tweaked Sculk Catalysts

Chat Trust status added

 New Options for Chat Preview

Reporting from Added Player

Allays will dance along to a Record played in a Jukebox

If the Allay is handed an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate

 Duplication has a 5-minute cooldown

Sculk Catalysts will now drop 5 XP instead of 20 XP

Moved the chat scrollbar from the left to the right

When typing a message, the signing status of the displayed chat message is shown with a colored indicator

The indicator will either appear to the left of the chat input field, or to the left of the chat preview if chat preview is being used

When the message is signed, the indicator will turn blue

Chat Preview will enable the indicator to turn orange and a preview of Chat Preview is available for signing

The background of the chat preview will also display slightly faded when a preview is waiting to be signed

Added a warning toast when connecting to a server that doesn't enforce secure chat

The Social Interactions screen now shows entries for players who have seen recent messages at the top.

Not signed messages or messages that have been altered by the server, will be marked

Messages with missing signatures or invalid signatures will be marked "Not Secure".

Modified messages that are detected are marked "Modified".

The trust status of messages are displayed with both a colored indicator and an icon

The colored indicator is always visible

The icon will only be visible if the chat screen has been opened

Clicking on the icon will give you more information about your trust status

Modified messages will display the original secure text in the tooltip.

System messages (non-player chat, such as command output) are displayed with a gray color indicator

Added "When Sending" Chat Preview option for updating chat previews only when attempting to send a message

To confirm the sending of a message, you will need to hit the Enter/Return key again

The "ON", previously used setting, has been renamed "While Typing"

When the chat preview is in "While Typing", it will not display previews of the message if it has not been modified by server.

Chat Preview is now available in singleplayer. This will display when you use selector substitutions like /say

Previewed hover events or click events are highlighted in a solid background

Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. Reporters will need to choose the specific chat messages that contain objectionable content. They also need to specify the category of the report. This is so we can provide the best context possible for our moderation team to take corrective action. This is accessed via the social interactions screen.

Reporting can be done by selecting multiple chat messages

Additional chat messages relating to this selection will also serve to provide context to our moderation teams

You can choose which report category you want from the list of Report Categories

The Report Categories screen features a "Learn About Reporting” button that links directly to a help article.

Additional comments are possible to provide further details and information about the report

For more information on player reporting, see this article and our Reporting FAQ.

If you have been suspended from playing online, the game will now show a warning screen at startup

The reason for the suspension and how long it has been in effect are shown.

A message that is filtered by Java Realms Profanity Filter, will now be marked using a yellow marker

If a chat messages they have sent has not been fully filtered by one or more Realm players, players will be notified.

The chat input box will no longer apply to custom font glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs with advances greater than 32

Chat types that have been added to the chat_types register are now only available for player chat and do not allow for system messages.

The game_info and system chat types were removed

Chat types have been simplified. They are now required to define chat and narration decorations

Chat types do not support overlays

Instead of using overlays to display, a system message should be used

The msg_command chat has been divided into msg_command_incoming, and msg_command_outgoing

The team_msg_command chat type has been split apart into team_msg_command_incoming and team_msg_command_outgoing

The team_name chat type parameter has been renamed to target

This chat type parameter has been added to msg_command_outgoing

The run_command click event for text components no longer supports sending chat messages directly

Only commands are supported

This means that values must always be /-prefixed

Commands like /say that produces a signed chat message for a player are not allowed

Instead, use /tellraw

 jukebox_play

 jukebox_stop_play

The order of chat messages is now cryptographically verified

This is used for validating the context of chat messages for Player Reports

enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers

Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag

Servers can create their own auto-completion options to allow regular chat via a new packet.

A new network packet can be used to hide chat messages from players by creating custom servers.

This does NOT delete chat messages from chat chat logs.
